Every year Committee members are elected by the club.
The committee aims to provide leadership and support, by fostering a positive environment that’s conducive to members’ personal and professional growth, allowing them to achieve their Toastmasters education program goals.
Sandra's role includes setting the tone for the club, provides help, support and leadership for all of the club’s activities.
Sandra also stays current on all new developments via the Leader Letter and the announcements published on the Toastmasters website.
Our Vice President Education
Anne Marie is responsible for providing and maintaining the positive environment and the programs through which members can develop their communication skills. With learning opportunities, and a friendly atmosphere, the club will have satisfied members.
Our Vice President Membership
Seamus promotes the club and manage the process of bringing in guests and transforming them into members. By initiating contact with guests, making them feel welcome, and providing them with the information they need to join, Seamus helps maintain a constant influx of new people into your club.
Our Vice President Public Relations
Lynn promotes the club to the local community and notify the media about the club’s existence and benefits it provides. Lynn also updates web content, and safeguards the Toastmasters brand identity. It’s her job to notify the media whenever your club does something newsworthy.
Joe maintains all club records, manages club files, handles club correspondence, and takes the minutes at each club and executive committee meeting. Joe is also in charge of updating and distributing a roster of the current paid membership, and keeping the club officer list current at World Headquarters
Eoin is the club’s accountant. He ks as approved by the executive committee and depositing dues and other club revenues. You are also in charge of submitting membership-renewal dues to World Headquarters (accompanied by the names of renewing members), filing necessary tax documents, and keeping timely, accurate, up-to-date financial records for the club
Our Sargeant at Arms
Eoin keeps track of the club’s physical property, such as the banner, lectern, timing device, and other meeting materials. Eoin arrives early to prepare the meeting place for members and stays late to stow everything away. Eoin also greets people at the door to sign them in.
